How To Download Straight Forward Messages On WhatsApp Status


WhatsApp is unarguably the best messaging app in the world today because of it's simplicity and easy template.

On February 2017, WhatsApp introduced it's status feature to allow it's users to send Short messages, videos or upload images for all their contacts to see.

WhatsApp status straight forward messages, videos and pictures are disappearing, meaning that they don't last forever. The straight forward messages on WhatsApp status only last for 24hrs, after a day the messages will be deleted automatically and it can't be seen again.

However, there are many reasons why one would want to download straight forward messages on WhatsApp status. The reasons are;
1. You love the straight forward WhatsApp message and want to read it again later.
2. Maybe it's the videos or messages you want to download for later usage. Etc

Whatever you want, in this article I will be telling you how to download straight forward messages on WhatsApp status and video with pictures.

How to download images and videos on WhatsApp status
There are lots of ways to save WhatsApp status pictures and videos. The best way is using an Android app called Story saver.

This app is available on Google play store and it's free.

The app let's you see all the WhatsApp status and then you can download anyone you want.

This app will only allow you to download WhatsApp video and image Status.

How to download straight forward messages on WhatsApp status.
WhatsApp allows users to upload quotes or write ups on the status.
These write ups on WhatsApp status is called Straight Forward Message.
It works the same way with pictures and videos the only difference is that it's written by the WhatsApp User and not uploaded like video or image.
Unfortunately, the Story saver app can't see straight forward messages on WhatsApp status. The app is designed to only read image and video status.

However, you might see a wonderful straight forward message on WhatsApp status but you are confused on how to download it before 24hrs when it will expire.

In my own case, I usually use screenshot function to download straight forward messages on WhatsApp status.

I do this by viewing the straight forward message on WhatsApp status and as the message is loading, I use one of my left finger to long press on the straight forward message. This will pause the loading of the straight forward message on WhatsApp status then quickly use one of your right finger to  swipe up and press on screenshot function of your phone. Immediately, the straight forward message will be captured by the screenshot and saved in your gallery This is how I save straight forward messages on WhatsApp status.

Note: Don't stop the long press on the straight forward message until you have clicked on the screenshot function. Just tap and keep holding with one finger, while still holding on the straight forward message, use other finger to swipe up and take screenshot. That's all
